Favorite Locations

I have been to a few different locations this past year, and clients are always asking what my favorites are. If I could pick a location, it would be anywhere with water. However, my 3 top picks require a little bit of travel. Not in any particular order, I would suggest Grant Park or Atwater Beach down in Milwaukee. Grant Park offers more trees for a backdrop, but Atwater offers long pretty green grasses, soft sand and interesting piers that are beginning to crumble. My other go-to is a quiet beach in Campbellsport on Mauthe Lake, which offers white pebble walking paths, a little wooden bridge, and a wooded area all within walking distance.

Looking for a more wooded area with fields? Retzer Nature center offers grassy walking paths through beautiful fields, pine trees, and wooded boardwalks into the woods. Nashotah Park is another I suggest in that it offers fields and dirt paths through wooded pine trees.

My other favorite location is right in your own home. We find the rooms with the best lighting and only move around what’s needed to clear the space. Plus, it’s very convenient in that your little ones are already comfortable within their own space, and you don’t need to pack anything up to meet with me.
