What’s New for 2024?

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged, but there has been quite a bit on my mind as far as my business and where I want to take it next year. One thing I’m super excited to offer is styling guides for my clients. Not sure what to put together to make your family photo ready? These style guides will provide picture perfect color pallets, patterns, textures AND tell you where you can find the items to purchase for each member of your family. Definitely takes out a ton of guess work, right? It a super cool system, and I’m already test driving it with a few clients.

I’m sure you are well aware that prices are going up with EVERYTHING. That means there’s a shift in pricing for all of the technology I use to make my business run smoothly: invoice/contract programs, editing software, gallery software, etc. This means that my pricing will go up, as well, in order to continue to provide my clients with the best quality experience. If you book now before the year ends, I will honor the current year’s pricing. Feel free to reach out ASAP to book your 2024 session. I’m so excited to see some previous as well as new clients!!!

Petite Sessions will continue year round as usual. However, I’ve decided not to advertise the typical petite sessions that other photographers offer. No fear! If you want those Tree Farm Petites or Fall Petites, we will make it happen, and I will find the best location for you and your family. They just won’t be advertised. I find that clients tend to just reach out when they want something particular, and I’m more than happy to accommodate. I will be offering more specialized sessions such as my Empowering Women Petite Sessions around Women’s History Month (March). I would also like to offer something new next year: Personality Portrait Petite Sessions. Didn’t particularly like those school photos your kiddo came home with? Would love for people to see a little personality in your child’s photos? Hate the generic backgrounds the school photographer uses? These will be done in studio and allow kiddos to bounce around, have fun, be themselves, and capture those amazing genuine smiles. These will be held in August prior to school starting.

As new updates unfold and my brain continues to produce new ideas, I will definitely keep you in the loop. The plan is to start providing a client newsletter filled with announcements, session offerings, and perhaps a few other little day to day thoughts.
