New Additions

My husband teased me for packing my camera when it was time to head to the hospital to give birth to our fourth child. However, I was determined to take some photos of her knowing that I would be by myself in a hospital room and this was our last baby. I’m glad I did! I was able to capture those first quiet moments with her before heading home to the rest of the family and the chaos.

It had me thinking, though. What if more moms wanted to capture those first 48 hours of life? Though a camera phone can be nice, you may still miss out on those tiny details that a camera on the phone just can’t pick up. Hence, the “birth” of one of my new offerings: The Fresh 48. Capturing those first 48 hours at the hospital with you and your new bundle of love. This would be about a 45 minute session, 35+ edited digital images, and would take place right in your hospital room after delivery.

Another new offering added to the website is small weddings and engagements. From the start, I’ve been resistant to photographing large weddings in that I love the power of smaller more intimate moments and connections. However, I have had a couple of people reach out more recently about capturing their smaller weddings and this is definitely more appealing. I also decided to include small engagements such as anniversaries and birthdays. Pricing and packages will vary depending on hours and needs, so this would definitely require some dialogue.
