What to Expect During a Photoshoot

This is not a posed photoshoot! If you’re looking for someone to tell you exactly what to do, how to stand, and contort your body into the perfect position, I am not your photographer. Lifestyle means minimal direction and more life-like organic photos that offer up a huge amount of sentiment and connection between you and your family. I love the raw real feels that come from natural play between family members.

So, when you first arrive at the location of your choice, I will suggest games, spots for the best photos and provide some small instructions to enhance the fun. I always tell parents that we will try for a couple of formal shots with everyone looking at the camera, but do not stress if it doesn’t happen. The most authentic shots tend to be the best ones.

Get ready to let your kiddos run free and have fun!

P.S. When at a water location, we save the jumping into the water for the very end. I wouldn’t want you to have wet clothes throughout the entire photo session!
